Hops are one of four essential ingredients in beer making. A cone-flower from Humulus Lupulus. It gives bitterness, flavour, and aroma.

Each variety of hops has different alpha acid, beta, and other compound ratios. It means that different hops provide distinct bitterness, flavour, and aroma. During these days, you will see a lot of brewers doing collaboration brew with hops farms to showcase new hops characters.

Beer hopping can be done in various ways; first wort, during the boil, end of the boil, hops stand, and dry, which each addition will give beer a different character.
